Coupon Verification Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Nothing is more frustrating than a coupon that fails at checkout. This policy explains how AloneDeals checks the codes and deals we list, what our “Verified” label really means, and why a code can still occasionally let you down.

How we check a coupon

Before a code goes live, we look at where it came from, read the terms attached to it, and where possible run it against the store to see how it behaves. We record the conditions we find — a minimum order value, specific eligible products, new-user-only rules, or an expiry date — and show them alongside the code so there are no surprises at the payment page.

What the “Verified” badge means

A Verified badge means the coupon was confirmed as working under the stated conditions at the time it was checked. It is a strong signal that the code is genuine and recently tested. It is not a lifetime guarantee: retailers can pull or change a code at any moment, and a coupon that worked this morning may be withdrawn by evening.

Why a valid code can still failMost failures come down to the fine print rather than a bad code. Common reasons include: the cart is below the minimum spend, the items are excluded or already discounted, the code is limited to first-time or app-only users, it works only in certain cities or pincodes, the offer has quietly expired, or the code has hit its usage limit.

Deals without a code

Many of the best savings need no coupon at all — the discount is applied automatically once you reach the store through the deal link. For these we confirm the offer is live and link you straight to the correct page. As always, the price shown on the retailer’s checkout is the one that counts.

Found a code that did not work?

Please tell us. Reader reports are one of the fastest ways we catch expired codes, and we would rather remove a dead coupon quickly than leave others to hit the same wall. You can flag it through our Contact page with the store name and the code you tried.

No guarantee, and why

Because coupons are created, changed and cancelled by the retailers themselves, AloneDeals cannot promise that any particular code will work for every shopper on every order. We verify in good faith and update as fast as we can, but the final acceptance of any coupon rests entirely with the store. Please also see our Refund Disclaimer for how purchases and refunds are handled.
